These alpaca blankets are loomed from the Suri alpaca breed more commonly referred to as baby alpaca. This breed of alpaca produces one of the only naturally hypoallergenic fibers on the planet. As soft as cashmere yet resilient and strong. These generously sized throws are perfect for travel, or everyday use. The alpacas are raised in upstate New York and the fibers are loomed by artisan villages in Peru.
